Public Speaking for Teachers and Administrators

What : This practical workshop provides teachers and administrators with the necessary tools to improve their competence and abilities to speak in English in public to large and multi-level groups of students, parents and colleagues. Participants will make regular, short presentations for peer analysis of strengths and weaknesses.

Who : Second-cycle school (G5 – 8), high school (G 9 – 12 / 1º – 4ºM) and higher education teachers and administrators

Length : eight hours – one-day intensive or two half-days semi-intensive or four two-hour sessions

Format : interactive seminar

Modalities : face-to-face “open”, or face-to-face “closed”

Recommended previous programmes : Participants should have at least one year´s teaching experience.

Recommended English level : CEFR-B2 or higher*
